    Balkan Periodicals Academy

    Islam, State and Society in the Balkans, 1918-1945

     

    The last module of the Balkan Periodicals Academy, titled “Islamic Periodicals in lands of Albanians” has concluded successfully. This module featured two seminars: “Islam, State and Society in Lands of Albanian, 1918-1945” conducted by Dr. Besnik Emini, and “Periodicals in Albania: Islamic Thought, 1918-1945” conducted by Dr. Fation Shabani and Dr. Besir Neziri.

      Besnik Emini in 2015, he earned his doctoral degree by defending his dissertation on the subject of the “Albanian Movement (1878-1900)” within the Department of the History of the Balkan Peoples

      At the Uludag University he finished his master studies in the field of Islamic Law. Currently he pursues his doctorate studies at Marmara University, Department of Islamic Law.

      He furthered his education within the same academic domain, ultimately earning a doctoral degree at Uludag University, Institute of Social Sciences, Turkish Language and Literature.
