Hikmet

Hikmet” is a specialized scientific and cultural journal published by the “Ibn Sina” Institute for Human Sciences, located in Pristina, Kosovo. The journal’s primary goal is to inform Albanian readers and the general public about human sciences in the Islamic world, with a specific focus on Islamic studies, Orientalism, and comparative studies. Furthermore, it aims to stimulate both Albanian and foreign researchers to bring innovations to these fields, thereby advancing the scientific and cultural level in the region. The journal accepts original academic articles, translations, interviews, and book reviews that align with its theoretical and academic vision. All submissions are rigorously evaluated by a specialized editorial board prior to publication, ensuring they are of scientific quality and include the necessary citations and references. While the journal is primarily published in Albanian, articles written in Arabic, Persian, Turkish, or English—accompanied by abstracts and keywords—are also accepted. “Hikmet” is published quarterly, specifically four times a year during winter, spring, summer, and autumn. It covers a wide range of disciplines and deeply examines the historical, linguistic, and cultural heritage of the Balkans.
